On December 13,
2011, the Deputy
Sheriffs' Foundation
will bring
approximately 250
underprivileged
children from
Tenderloin, Bay View
Hunters Point for
Holiday Shopping.
Each child will be
accompanied by a
Deputy Sheriff or
volunteer to the
shopping.
Each child will be
able to shop $100
for clothing and
$100 toys of his/her
choice. This event
will bring the
holiday spirit and
dream for children
that did not have
the opportunity of
knowing what
Christmas is. In
addition, the event
will bridge the
communication
between
underprivileged
families and
children, the law
enforcement and the
community.
